Lessons
Riding instruction is available to riders of all skill levels, beginners
through advanced. Riders need not own a horse to learn to ride.
Sweet Music Farm has available school horses of various skill
levels for the use of our students and is included in the price the of
the lesson. In addition to riding, students are taught how to properly
groom and tack up a horse and how to properly and safely warm up
and cool a horse down.
We start our riders by giving them strong basics and a solid
foundation upon which to build. Lessons are taught in a one-on-one
environment assuring the entire focus of the lesson is on you as an
individual. Semi-private lessons, of no more than 2-3 people may be
arranged on occasion. However, all students must be current clients
of Sweet Music Farm and be approved for group riding by one of the
instructors.
Good horsemanship is safe horsemanship!
30 minute private lesson: $65
1 hour private lesson: $85
1 hour semi-private lesson: $70 (must be approved by
instructor)
Packages:
(10) 1 hour private lessons: $775
(10) 1/2 hour private lessons: $575
No Shows & Late Cancellations:
We are understanding that things come up and students will
sometimes miss lessons. However, it is our policy, that a 24
hour cancellation notice be given. If notice is not given within
24 hours, student will be charged full price for lesson.
Arriving Late to Lessons:
All lessons will have a scheduled time. If you show up 15
minutes late to your lesson, do not expect your lesson to run
15 minutes later. It is our policy to begin and end all lessons
on time so that the remaining scheduled lessons can begin
on time. If you think you will be running late, please call our
office, we can have your horse ready for you when you get
here to save you time!

Pony Care Classes
Enrollment is now open for our 8 week
Pony Care Classes. This program is
designed for beginning young riders
between the ages of 7-18. Children will
be taught proper horsemanship with
hands-on activities such as grooming,
feeding, leading, and riding. For more
