Summer Camp Sessions
Summer is just around the corner! Start planning your child's summer
activities now! Sweet Music Farm is pleased to be offering a unique,
educational summer camp experience for riders of all levels ages 5
through 17. Beginning in June we will kick off the summer with 4
weeks of fun-filled day camp. Each session will meet daily from 10am
through 2pm beginning Tuesday and concluding on Friday. Each
session will cost $300 per week or$575 for 2 weeks. Sessions will
be broken into the following divisions: Each session is limited to 6
students so book early! A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to
make a reservation and the balance will be due on the 1st day of
camp.
June 23-26 & June 30-July 3 Beginner Sessions: For riders
new to horses and riding. This includes first time riders and riders
with a limited amount of walk-trot experience. Beginner session
campers will have an education program specially tailored to their
needs. They will learn the basic care and upkeep of our equine
friends through various hands on activities. Students will each have
a daily riding session with one of our trainers.
July 7-10 & July 14-17 Intermediate Sessions: Tailored to
riders who have a solid foundation and can easily walk- trot, and
may canter already or just learning canter. Some riders may be
jumping small jumps. Campers will explore the aspects of
horsemanship and horse care. Activities will include arts & crafts,
equine related projects, and daily riding sessions.
Campers are more than welcome to use their own horse. A limited
number of stalls will be available for campers use. Horses may be
shipped in for the day ($20/day, stall only. No feed/hay) or board for
the week ($125/Tues-Fri includes, feed/hay, turnout, full boarders
perks). All horse must have a current Veterinary Certificate of Health
and proof that horse is up to date on all shots and vaccinations. Any
horse deemed unsafe or unhealthy will not be allowed on the
property.
Pre and Post camp care is available at the rate of $10/hour between
the hours of 8:30am-10:00am, and 2pm-5pm.
